To cap off our unit about economics and financial planning we played Survivor Island. The class earned "income" during the past few weeks. Their task was to shop and survive on a desert island. They were able to shop at a toy story, grocery store, REI, and clothing store.
Many students were able to survive having met their basic needs but only 2 were able to survive the harsh challenges that were thrown in to whittle down the group. Here are our 2 very well prepared survivors. They are ready to brave the wild! Congratulations!
